Supporting Christian schools across the globe

What we can offer schools and local hubs

Immanuel Online School works with a number of UK and international Christian schools, particularly in providing online teaching and/or resources for a range of subjects at secondary KS3 level and in preparation for Cambridge IGCSEs. We can offer different modes of study for students in schools (content only, asynchronous and synchronous live tutorials) and have particular experience and depth of resources in Computer Science and can also offer support in specialist subjects such as Business Studies, Physics, French etc. You can read about some of the schools we support and how we work with them below. In 2022 we merged with NSWLearning: one of the earliest online education providers in Western Europe, with substantial experience of supporting Christian schools worldwide.

Please contact us for more information or to discuss the different options available and potentially tailored arrangements to suit your school.

Your Title
Option 1

NSW Track - most popular with schools and local hubs

Description Fees Resources Assessment
Students can access their courses 24/7 on our learning portal. All assignments are marked with feedback by a dedicated tutor who can be contacted for advice. The school designates specific study time during the school week for the NSW courses and nominates a supervisor to oversee the students and act as the primary point of contact between students and our tutor. £240 per student per course per annum. Discounted fees may be available for more than 40 students. Learning portal access with lesson material, marked assignments and/or auto-marking tests with instant feedback, supervisor spreadsheets and Scope and Sequence Documents. Excludes hard copy textbooks where these are required. Learning portal gradebook, dashboard for an overview of the student's current progress, My Feedback feature with comments from tutors and course completion tracking.

Note:

*Payment Models: Parents can pay all or a portion of the fees directly to Immanuel Online School or all fees can be paid directly by the school. Some schools choose to ask parents to cover all or a portion of the fees for these externally delivered courses. Alternatively, schools may simply opt for direct payment.

*Supervisors in Schools: We require schools to nominate a supervisor as the primary point of contact for the school, to oversee progress and ensure deadlines are met by the students on site. The supervisor does not have to teach any of the course material and does not have to be a subject specialist or a teacher. For IGCSE students, supervisors also play an important role in facilitating mock exams. Supervisor spreadsheets can be provided to help supervisors keep track of the students' work. Supervisers typically oversee one to three hours each week of study time per course.

Option 2

Content Only Track

Description Fees Resources Assessment
Students can access their courses 24/7 on our learning portal. Teachers in the school can be set up on the portal for marking or receive assignments manually or students can work through their courses independently. Tracking spreadsheets can be provided. Please note there is no administrative or tutor support provided on this track aside from enrolment on the course. £150 per student per course per annum. Decided on a case by case basis for certain courses. Bespoke arrangements for larger groups of students can be discussed. Learning portal access with lesson material, only certain pre-written assignments and/or auto-marking tests with instant feedback, supervisor spreadsheets and Scope and Sequence Documents. There are no dynamic assignments created by tutors and we would expect specialists to be marking the work, as mark schemes will not be provided. Excludes hard copy textbooks where these are required. If teachers are set up on the portal for marking, students can access the learning portal gradebook, dashboard for an overview of the student's current progress, My Feedback feature with comments from tutors and course completion tracking.
Option 3

Live Track for Schools and local hubs

Description Fees Resources Assessment
The Live Track offers students complete access to the learning portal, following our LTT structure: Lesson, Test, Tutorial. Each completed Lesson and Test (or short Assignment for English) during the student's prep time is followed by a weekly 30-minute live tutorial. Tutors are available for correspondence, reviewing completed tests, checking for understanding and conducting assessment for learning. Tutors also mark all submitted assignments. A school-appointed supervisor handles communication and at IGCSE level facilitates mock exams. £350 per student per course (and per tutorial) per annum. Note that English and Maths have two tutorials per week and every other subject has one tutorial per week. Bespoke arrangements for larger groups of students can be discussed. Learning portal access with lesson material, marked assignments and/or auto-marking tests with instant feedback, supervisor spreadsheets and overview planners. Excludes hard copy textbooks where these are required. Learning portal gradebook, dashboard for an overview of the student's current progress, My Feedback feature with comments from tutors and course completion tracking. Assessment for learning in the live tutorial.
