Celebrating our students' IGCSE results
We are delighted to celebrate the results of our students' hard work and perseverance. Our IGCSE results reflect the commitment, talent and effort of our students and tutors.
Recognising effort
Immanuel Online School is not a selective school. Our students come to us with a variety of target grades and every grade represents an investment in effort, determination and growth.
Building on a legacy of excellence
In 2022 IOS merged with the well-established NorthStar Worldwide, an organisation with a legacy of excellence in online education since 1999. Many of NorthStar’s experienced tutors joined our Live Track programme, bringing with them years of expertise and a history of achieving incredible results across all subjects. An example of NorthStar Worldwide's recent published results can be seen below."I never thought I’d achieve such great results. Thank you to the amazing tutors."
"It was amazing to achieve two A*s among other good grades. Thank you so much for all the hard work and support the tutors gave us."
"I was pleasantly suprised to achieve an A grade as well, when I had expected Bs"
We pray for our students as they move on to new opportunities and challenges. May they continue to grow and shine brightly in all they do!
"Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." - Proverbs 16:3
Cambridge IGCSE qualifications are globally recognised and cater to a range of abilities and learning styles. Depending on the school or examination centre, results for Cambridge IGCSEs may be reported in one of two grading systems: 9-1 Grading System: This is similar to the grading scale used in UK GCSEs. The highest grade is 9, and the lowest passing grade is 1. A–U Grading System: This is the traditional grading scale. A* represents the highest achievement, followed by A, B, C, etc., with U indicating an ungraded result. Both grading systems reflect a student’s performance and are equivalent in value, allowing for flexibility depending on regional or institutional preferences.
