Aileen received her PGCE from Oxford University. Her passion for education has led to many years of teaching at secondary level, including as Head of Chemistry in a large UK school and leading the Gifted and More Able Programme. As Head of Science in the new British secondary section of a Swiss international school, she contributed to developing the curriculum through to successful IGCSEs and fully equipping the laboratories. She qualified as an International Baccalaureate teacher and assessor. Aileen has taught her own three children through to IGCSEs; two are now at university. She loves sewing, cooking and skiing.

Benjamin Randersfjørd is a husband, father, and teacher in his late twenties, who is pursuing the call on his life to be a bright and salty signpost to the community of boys and staff in his boarding school. He never expected to be given this outpost in a quiet town nestled among the rolling hills of Old Wessex, but His ways are not his ways. The Holy Spirit gripped his soul whilst abroad in the former Soviet Union and revealed the palpable despair of a post-Christian culture - an irreversible decay without the lasting reconstruction of the Biblical alternative.

Chris has over 40 years’ experience of teaching secondary pupils and was Head of Department (Computer Science and Networking) in a top ranking independent school. Although trained as a Physicist, Chris taught IT, Computing and Electronics. He enjoys teaching all ages (up to 92 years old!) and applying his problem solving skills to a wide variety of situations. In his spare time Chris is very involved as music coordinator in his local church and enjoys playing the piano and guitar. Chris is a valuable member of IOS and has also contributed to content development and testing.
