He has also taught Humanities at Immanuel Online School, contributing to both content development and course inspiration in a number of ways. Ben speaks a variety of languages and has run a challenging summer school course for IOS - learn to speak Spanish in four days!. He never expected to be given this outpost in a quiet town nestled among the rolling hills of Old Wessex, but His ways are not his ways. He felt the Holy Spririt speak to him whilst abroad in the former Soviet Union and revealed the palpable despair of a post-Christian culture - an irreversible decay without the lasting reconstruction of the Biblical alternative.

Sheona graduated with a First in English Literature and Classics from Reading University and then went on to get an MSc from LSE, a PGCE and a CELTA, all of which is pretty funny considering that she grew up wanting to be an eye surgeon! Fortunately, God directed her path and having taught in various schools before home-educating her own children, Sheona now enjoys teaching English part-time and tutoring, working to share the joy and insight that comes from reading great works of literature from all over the world and across time. She treasures the memories of home-educating her own children and counts it a privilege to help other families on their adventures.
